leaf music

Little leaf shines

in an ocean of sky

shivers ~ twirls ~

and leans ~ to the leaf

next to, and

next to and on,

which answers in kind

while more join along,

their dance gentle music

for the girl down below,

music

filtered through light

in a shivering canopy

where many leaves shine

and many leaves fall

but the one sweet leaf

glistens on like a friend.

Sunlight filters through bright green tree leaves creating beautiful halos.
