Aging Angry is coming out with a bang, thanks to Lydia Anderson, media specialist at University of Otago. Lydia pitched the book to a radio show hosted by Kim Hill, my absolute favorite radio personality in New Zealand. Kim’s show airs on Saturday mornings, and I’ve always found it just fascinating.

My first response, when she asked was, “Hell yeah! I’d love to appear on her show!” Followed by internal dialogue, “Oh no. I couldn’t possibly.” You see, Kim is known for asking penetrating questions. For two days I obsessed on all the mistakes I could make. The worst? Total brain freeze. Radio silence. Disaster.

I needn’t have worried. Kim was a thoroughly gracious host and it turned out we both had a lot to say.

So there’s a milestone completed. Tick off “First radio interview.” I wonder what’s next?

You can listen to the interview here.
